Job description

We have the privilege of recruiting on behalf of an innovative business, who are a leader in their sector, supplying retail customers with fresh high-quality produce. We currently offer the position of Interim QA Manager taking responsibility for the effective management of the QA team, with product quality at the forefront.

Responsibilities
  • Manage QA staff to ensure adequate provision at all times.
  • Work closely with suppliers and commercial colleagues to communicate product arrival and quality information.
  • Liaise daily with production colleagues to ensure operating packing procedures are being followed, with fully trained staff.
  • Ensure all fresh produce product is quality checked, corrective actions taken when necessary, allocated to the appropriate customer and documentation compliance.
Qualifications
  • Experience gained within a similar management position, offering a positive and supportive management style.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
  • Exposure to the Food and / or Fresh Produce sectors is essential.
  • Confident in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and make decisions under pressure.

Hours: Monday – Friday, with some flexibility required.
Location: Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
