Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for Interim Procurement Consultant to oversee procurement operations within the professional services industry, with a focus on Fleet & Rail Services. The role requires you to have completed the Government Commercial College TPP module and be a PA23 Certified Practitioner.

Client Details

The employer is a rapidly growing organisation within the professional services industry. This role will mainly be a remote role with occasional travel to clients in Derby/West Midlands and the London Regions. This role is an outside IR35 role!

Description
  • Delivering end to end (through open and negotiated public contract regulations led) procurement's with a particular focus on Rail & Fleet.
  • Analyse market trends and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and report on fleet procurement performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Profile

A successful Interim Procurement Consultant should have

  • Must have completed the Government Commercial College TPP module and be a PA23 Certified Practitioner.
  • Proven expertise in end to end procurement particularly in Rail, Fleet, Water or Utilities operations.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyse market data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships effectively.
Job Offer
  • Competitive daily rate of £500 to £600 outside IR35, depending on relevant experience.
  • Opportunity to work on a mainly remote basis with occasional travel to Derby/ Midlands/ London Offices.
  • Temporary position with a focus on fleet procurement management.
