Job summary

A leading FMCG company in Leeds is seeking a Procurement Administrator for a 3-6 month contract. This site-based role involves creating and tracking purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, and supporting procurement operations. The ideal candidate has experience in a Manufacturing/Distribution environment, proficient in SAP and Excel. Immediate start preferred. Competitive pay at up to £200/day.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Administrator with a background in Manufacturing/Distribution.
  • Strong capability in using SAP and excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create, process and track purchase orders accurately.
  • Maintain supplier records and support onboarding.
  • Communicate with suppliers and monitor performance.
  • Perform data entry, analysis, and maintain procurement data.
  • Assist with contract reviews and data accuracy.
  • Support the procurement team's administrative duties.

Paying up to £200/day.

Large FMCG business requires a Procurement Administrator for a 3 - 6 month contract.

This will be a fast paced role within a highly reputable Manufacturing business.

This is site based and Mon - Fri (days).

The role
  • Working within a high performing Procurement team, you will create, process and track purchase orders ensuring accuracy in quantities, delivery dates and pricing.
  • Maintenance of supplier records, supporting onboarding and compliance
  • Communicating with suppliers and monitoring their performance
  • Preparing reports, performing data entry and analysis, and keeping procurement-related data up-to-date
  • Assisting with contract reviews, maintaining contract databases, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Performing general administrative duties to support the procurement team's overall function
The candidate
  • Experienced Administrator who ideally has worked within a Manufacturing / Distribution environment.
  • Experience of using SAP and good Excel skills.

The client needs someone to start asap, so having with ability to undertake the assignment within a couple of weeks is paramount.
