I am delighted to be representing a fantastic organisation based in Norwich who are looking to appoint an experienced Head of Operations and Logistics. This is a key leadership position within the business, responsible for driving efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement across all warehouse and logistics operations. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team to deliver seamless end‑to‑end performance—from inventory management through to final delivery—ensuring high standards of service, safety, and cost control are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse, logistics, and transport operations.
• Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, identify issues, and implement data‑driven solutions.
• Develop logistics strategies to optimise service levels and cost control.
• Implement effective stock management and inventory control processes.
• Take ownership of Health & Safety compliance and proactive risk management.
• Support business growth through effective planning and process optimisation.
• Contribute to system improvement projects, including Warehouse Management System upgrades.

• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally within a retail or fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to make confident decisions.
• Financially astute with experience managing budgets and driving efficiencies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP/WMS systems.
