Job Description
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise excess.
- Utilise ERP/MRP systems, such as Oracle, for material planning and scheduling.
- Generate and analyse data reports using advanced Excel functions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align material requirements with production schedules.
- Identify and resolve supply chain challenges efficiently.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and material planning activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Material Planner should have:
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle) for effective material planning
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain planning principles
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong time management and organisational abilities to meet deadlines
- Significant relevant experience in materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control (3-5 years preferred)
