Qualifications

• Be a Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA. Qualified by Experience will be considered.
• Have proven experience in a growth-focused environment with a track record of driving change.
• Have strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• Be an effective communicator and relationship builder across diverse teams.
• Be a proficient Microsoft Excel and financial systems user.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing long‑term financial strategies across multiple sites.
• Delivering high‑quality budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Ensuring financial performance aligns with agreed annual budgets.
• Producing monthly management accounts and financial forecasts.
• Monitoring and reporting on school‑level KPIs.
• Overseeing cashflow management and ensuring liquidity across designated sites.
• Leading month‑end process improvements in collaboration with wider finance teams.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Supporting year‑end audit preparation and external reporting.
• Attending finance meetings outside standard working hours when required.
