Job description

A highly successful business based near Thirsk seeks a Management Accountant to help them urgently with an initial 3 month assignment. For the right person, this could lead to a rewarding permanent opportunity.

The key tasks primarily involve supporting the financial director with preparing the monthly management accounts, monitoring budgets, completing bank reconciliations, posting journals and possibly some payroll.

The finance team is small but supportive so you’ll need to demonstrate a willing / hands on attitude plus be a competent Excel user.

This is a great opportunity to work with a particularly successful FD in a very interesting and pleasant setting. The role is to start in September at the latest so please only apply if you’re available to start straight away and be willing to commit to the initial 3 months.

Hybrid working is available but it would be preferable if you were based a commutable distance from Thirsk.
