Job summary

A leading group of companies in East Yorkshire is seeking an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 6-month contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute within a close-knit finance team, providing key support for Management Accounting, cost control, and budget production. The position includes a flexible work pattern with 50% office attendance, and a salary ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 DOE.

  • Ability to work within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end Management Accounting process.
  • Business Partnering with stakeholders around the business.
  • Conduct weekly cost control analysis and review.
  • Post journals and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Assist in annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to department deadlines.
  • Support efficient period end close process.

HW Finance are partnering with a leading group of companies within East Yorkshire to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 6-month period.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a key role within a close-knit finance team. There is potential for the role to become permanent at the end of the contract as the business grows.

Due to growth, this business is looking for an extra pair of hands within the finance function. As Management Accountant, you will provide support to the wider team, ensuring accurate reporting and helping to drive improvements across the finance function.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Supporting with the end-to-end Management Accounting process
  • Business Partnering with stakeholders around the business
  • Weekly cost control analysis and review
  • Posting journals
  • Reconcile and analyse Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the production of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
  • Ensure that all department deadlines are adhered to
  • Support efficient period end close process
