Overview

Our client supports children and young people up to 25 when someone important to them has died or is not expected to live, and parents and families when a baby or child dies or is dying. Alongside direct support, the organisation provides high‑quality training to professionals across health, education, emergency services, and the corporate and voluntary sectors. Prospectus are delighted to be supporting with their search for an interim Major Gifts & Special Events Fundraiser (4 days a week).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide essential short‑term support across major donor stewardship and the delivery of high‑profile fundraising events.
  • Maintain strong relationships with major supporters and ensure timely and personalised communication.
  • Support the planning and delivery of two flagship events, along with other key fundraising activities.
Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience in charity fundraising, preferably with major donors and high‑value events.
  • Strong communication, organisational and relationship‑building skills.
  • Confidence working both independently and within a busy team, able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks at pace.
Remuneration & Working Conditions

£33,000 pro rata. Fixed contract until 31 May 2026. Part‑time – 4 days a week. Remote with occasional visits to High Wycombe.
