Interim M&A Executive | Global Media Business

Location: Central London, Hybrid (3 days in office)

Start Date: ASAP

Length of Contract: 6 months

Contract Type: Contract (FTC or Day Rate).

The client is a major global player in TV & Film production and distribution, aiming to triple turnover in the next few years. The role supports this ambition by leading the full cycle of M&A and strategic investment activities.

Duties

• Support the execution of M&A and strategic investment activity, across evaluation, due diligence, and deal execution.
• Take ownership of defined transaction workstreams and manage smaller deals autonomously.
• Build and review financial models, valuations, and investment cases.
• Assess inorganic growth opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and minority investments.
• Prepare clear, high‑quality investment papers and board materials for senior leadership.
• Track performance of completed transactions against strategic and financial objectives.
• Maintain market and competitor intelligence to support ongoing opportunity assessment.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and external advisers, representing the business professionally.

What We Need to See (Essential)

• Experience in investment banking, corporate development, transaction services, or a similar M&A‑focused environment.
• Strong technical skills across financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis.
• Advanced Excel capability and the ability to produce high‑quality presentation materials.
