A leading financial recruitment agency is seeking an Interim Senior Technical Financial Accountant for a 6-month contract based in St Albans. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and possess significant experience in IFRS reporting within multinational environments. This hybrid role demands expertise in managing audits and preparing IFRS financial statements, offering a rate of circa £550 per day outside IR35, with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification experience in multinational or acquisitive groups.
• Proven expertise in technical accounting and statutory reporting.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical papers (impairments, going concern, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Act as the in-house expert on advanced IFRS accounting.
• Lead the preparation of full IFRS statutory accounts.
• Oversee the end-to-end audit process.
