Job Title: HR Projects Advisor
Salary: £37,000
Location: Barnsley
Working Hours: 36 per week
Length: Until March 2026 (Possibility for extension)
Hybrid Working: 1 Day per week

Elevation Recruitment are working exclusively with an education client to support in the recruitment of an HR Projects Advisor on a full-time basis on a fixed term contract until March 2026.

Reporting into the Head of HR, this role will support pre-merger activity and the success of planned merger, through consultation meetings and due diligence in preparation for TUPE transfer. As a HR Projects Advisor you will be:

  • Supporting the delivery of merger through the preparedness of HR data, information and due diligence alongside responding to queries relating to staff consultation and TUPE transfer
  • Supporting in wider HR activity including providing advice, guidance and support to managers and staff on a range of HR issues including performance management, absence management, employee relations, staff wellbeing, terms and conditions of employment and learning and development
  • Acting as a frontline Human Resources Advisor for curriculum and business support teams and take a proactive role in ensuring the compliance with HR systems and procedures
  • Conducting formal and informal casework including disciplinary, grievances, capability and formal probationary reviews
  • Providing effective support to line managers and employees, whilst ensuring that the processes are well managed and in line with policy and process.
