Job summary

NACBA is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Accountant to join the Group Finance team on an interim basis for 6-7 months. The role will own the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements and oversee the year-end external audit process.

Key responsibilities include leading statutory and consolidated accounts for UK entities, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/FRS 102, and coordinating with auditors and stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in preparing statutory and consolidated financial statements.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102.
• Experience managing external audits.
• Solid technical accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Able to work autonomously and own deliverables.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management.
• Financial services or asset management experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the audit process and act as a key contact for external auditors.
• Research technical accounting issues and prepare clear accounting papers and recommendations.

About You
