• Motivated to make a meaningful impact even within a short‑term contract.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the grounds maintenance workforce ensuring effective deployment, supervision and delivery of daily work programmes.
• Plan and monitor grounds maintenance schedules, seasonal priorities and work allocations.
• Review performance, productivity and standards, taking corrective action where required.
• Ensure all operations comply with relevant legislation, council policies and best‑practice safety standards.
• Respond professionally to enquiries, complaints and service requests from residents, councillors and internal departments.
