Michael Page is seeking an interim French Payroll Specialist to support the larger EMEA payroll function for a key client in the IT sector. Start date is immediate with a rolling contract of about 6 months.

The role is based in Reading with hybrid working, requiring about 2 days on site per week. Responsibilities include end-to-end French payroll processing, coordination with external providers, data validation, and assisting with year-end activities and statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• Fluent communication in French and English
• Experience with French payroll processes
• Experience liaising with payroll providers

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end French payroll for the French payroll process
• Liaise with external payroll providers and monitor service delivery
• Review input data and resolve discrepancies before processing
• Prepare payroll accounting entries and assist monthly reconciliations
• Ensure statutory payments and deadlines are met
• Support year-end activities and statutory reporting
