Job summary

Consult in London is seeking an interim FP&A / strategic finance consultant to support senior leadership on the 2027 budget process, forecasting, and management reporting.

This hybrid, 3-6 month assignment involves advanced Excel modelling, scenario analysis and close collaboration with UK, EMEA and US stakeholders.

The role emphasizes commercial insights and hands-on financial modelling, with a daily rate of £650–£800 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong FP&A or strategic finance experience in advisory or professional services.
• 7–12+ years preferred; capability valued over title.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Proven stakeholder management and business partnering abilities.
• Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to planning cycles.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting and AOP processes.
• Lead management reporting and forecasting activities.
• Build and refine financial models and scenario analysis.
• Provide commercial and strategic finance support to senior stakeholders.
• Develop reporting in an Excel-led environment and ad hoc analyses.
• Operate with minimal supervision within a lean finance team.
