Job Description

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor finance team members as required.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Audit background is highly desirable!
  • Extensive year end audit experience to be able to hit the ground running
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Management responsibilities in the past
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • The ability to work effectively in a temporary and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
