Job summary

ALF Recruit is seeking an Interim Financial Controller to manage group financial control across multiple entities, with a complex intercompany structure. The role is hybrid, with one day in the Salford Quays office, on a 6-month FTC basis and potential extension.

The ideal candidate is a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with multi-entity experience, strong stakeholder management, and openness to evolving processes. Audit exposure is advantageous for this demanding, high-visibility position.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Experience in multi-entity group structure with intercompany dynamics
• Strong stakeholder management across seniority levels
• Audit exposure would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Own group financial control across multiple trading entities
• Prepare high-level management accounts and reconciliations
• Manage intercompany recharges and consolidations
• Lead multiple projects while maintaining day-to-day numbers
• Collaborate with senior leadership, entity finance teams and external advisers
• Improve processes as the group evolves and take on ad hoc projects
