ABPM are supporting a very profitable, market-leading UK subsidiary of an international group of companies in the recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller, reporting to the UK Finance Director and site General Manager, who will oversee the finance team to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations and business partnering across the business and deliver group reporting requirements.

If you are a self-motivated finance professional with the ability to work independently, can multitask effectively and has strong attention to detail, then this may be an ideal interim role for you.

An insight into your duties:
  • Manage and guide a finance team.
  • Oversee all month-end activities.
  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare year-end accounts.
  • Develop cashflow forecasts and collaborate for budget setting.
  • Work in progress and project controls.
  • Cost and process improvements.
  • Oversight of purchase and sales ledgers.
  • VAT, payroll, overheads, cashbook, reconciliations, and compliance.
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

An ideal vacancy for a qualified accountant who holds a broad knowledge of accounting and finance functions with a background in Manufacturing sectors and experience of SAP or similar would be a bonus.
