• Confident communicator, able to liaise with auditors and stakeholders across the business.
• Available to start on short notice / immediately

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP/FRS 102.

The Company

Our client is a well-established business based in Stroud with a turnover of circa £110+ million. They are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant to support the finance team, with a particular focus on statutory accounts.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing, commercially-minded finance function on an interim basis. Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of statutory accounts in line with relevant accounting standards
• Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
• Ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger review
• Supporting month-end close processes as required
• Working closely with the wider finance team on ad hoc projects and reporting

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience preparing statutory accounts, ideally within a business of similar scale
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and up-to-date with UK GAAP/FRS 102
• Confident communicator, able to work with auditors and stakeholders across the business
• Available to start on short notice / immediately
