Job summary

Shiseido UKI is seeking an Interim Finance Manager on a 6-month FTC. You will lead finance transformation projects, improve processes, and provide flexible support across the finance function during peak workloads.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will strengthen controls, enhance reporting, and coordinate with stakeholders across Finance on month-end close, audits, and financial planning. The role requires a qualified accounting background, advanced Excel, ERP experience (SAP

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial controls knowledge.
• External audit experience with subsequent industry experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with data analysis and reporting automation.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA.
• Proactive, pragmatic and solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Automate and enhance balance sheet reporting.
• Develop management reporting including Travel & Entertainment reporting.
• Review and optimise key finance processes and controls.
• Streamline month-end processes within commercial finance for financial reporting.
• Create and maintain Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs).
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit requirements.
• Provide cover across Financial Reporting and Transactional Finance teams.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and financial analysis.
