What will I be bringing to life in this role?

This role is for a talented individual who can be relied upon as a trusted pair of hands to the Chief Financial Officer. You will hold responsibility for accurate and timely reporting and analysis including month end, quarter end and year‑end. We are looking for a reliable individual, who can be trusted and treat deadlines as paramount.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee transactional and financial reporting processes
  • Management of the production of timely and accurate monthly financial accounts including posting of standard month‑end journals, all profit and loss and balance sheet accounts as well as quarter‑end reporting
  • Timely, accurate and high‑quality group reporting as per standardised group reports
  • Review interim Corp Tax instalments and payments
  • Accurate and timely submission of all relevant company returns and payments to statutory authorities such as: confirmation statements, statutory accounts, PAYE, VAT, PSA and P11D reporting
  • Management of AR and AP function including approval of accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable invoices
  • Maintain adequately robust financial controls and systems, including and not limited to, upholding segregation of duties, approval for cash disbursement and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Management of 3 Finance Assistants
  • Ad‑hoc requirements as needed
What will I need to hit the ground running?
  • Fully qualified accountant, finalist or part‑qualified (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA); QBE will be considered with extensive relevant experience
  • Fast learner and a hard worker who can ride a strong learning curve
  • Strong Excel skills – pivot table, complex formula such as match index, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Ability to manage workload and deadlines efficiently and produce high‑quality work
