Overview

This UK arm of a larger group, based in Leeds currently have a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished Finance Manager to join the Finance Team asap.

You will be vastly experienced when it comes to managing a finance team, overseeing all Ledgers, and ensuring the Accounting functions deliver accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage a finance team, oversee all Ledgers, and ensure the Accounting functions deliver accurately and in a timely manner.
• Take responsibility for the production of all HMRC and VAT returns, as well as the production of the Management Accounts and delivering the commentary to the wider business, and explain variances with business partnering to non-finance functions within the operation.
• Maintain Excel skills; ideally have a working knowledge of XERO.
• Move towards a permanent opportunity for the right person where appropriate.
