Handle are currently working with a market-leading global retailer, who are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to lead global finance operations, enhance processes, and drive best practices within a new shared services function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Finance Manager to gain some valuable experience in such a great brand!

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate general ledgers and timely reconciliations
  • Manage cost allocations, inter-company charges, and balance reconciliations
  • Support strategic planning for shared services setup and transitions
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and corporate policies
  • Act as liaison between shared services and other departments
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
  • Lead initiatives to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Analyse financial data to deliver actionable insights for decision-making
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Candidate requirements
  • Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA or international equivalent
  • Extensive background in finance or accounting, ideally with substantial experience in a shared services environment
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high‑performing finance teams
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and software, including ERP platforms and advanced Excel capabilities
  • Proven experience in overseeing projects and driving process enhancements
  • Previous retail, FMCG or consumer background is highly advantageous
