Job summary

A values-driven SME in the not-for-profit sector is seeking an experienced interim finance professional for a hybrid role in Bolton. This position involves managing day-to-day finances, overseeing revenue recognition, and leading contract management activities. The ideal candidate will have strong financial accounting expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex funding streams. Immediate availability preferred.

We're seeking an experienced interim professional to lead finance, systems and contracting activity for a values-driven organisation SME in the not-for-profit sector.

The Role
  • Manage day-to-day finance including month-end, management accounts, budgeting and statutory returns.
  • Oversee revenue recognition and ensure financial accuracy across all agreements.
  • Lead contract management: reviewing/drafting agreements, VAT evaluation, compliance checks and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Support Directors with organisational performance, risk, GDPR and sustainability.
