Job summary

KennedyPearce Consulting is partnering with a leading international investment management business to appoint an Interim Finance Director to support European finance operations. The role covers financial reporting, business partnering, regulatory compliance and operational oversight across multiple European entities.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, provide financial guidance, ensure robust reporting and drive improvements across the wider finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in financial control, reporting or senior finance leadership.
• Experience in financial services, investment management, wealth management or another regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting across European entities.
• Manage year-end reporting and external audit processes.
• Provide commercial insight and financial support to senior business stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
• Manage relationships with internal teams and outsourced finance providers.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
