Job description

An interim Finance Business Partner is required to join a manufacturing business on a fixed term contract for 12 months, a permanent role is also available. This is a full‑time position based on site with Fridays working from home. An immediate start is available.

Your New Role as Finance Business Partner:

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work within a friendly team of 4 finance staff in a varied and hands‑on position. With appropriate levels of support and guidance, specific duties will include:

  • Line management for 1 member of staff in the finance team
  • Production of the monthly management accounts and board pack
  • Production of weekly business data with analysis
  • Support business planning by providing financial analysis and modelling
  • Support with statutory accounting requirements including audit
  • Measuring business KPIs
  • Business partnering with commercial, sales and operational staff to provide meaningful financial information and support
  • Support with budgeting activities
  • Supporting with ad hoc financial projects
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified or approaching full qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), with experience within a manufacturing environment. Excellent Excel skills are required as you will be required to handle and manipulate complex data sets. Additionally, strong resilience and communication skills are imperative as you will be required to liaise with various stakeholders within the business at all levels, including non‑finance staff, providing financial insight and challenging where necessary.
