This role involves providing expert advice on employee conduct and leading casework while managing formal investigations. Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations casework, ideally within the Civil Service or wider Public Sector.
  • Ability to influence, advise, and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert ER advice across conduct, performance, grievance, and absence cases.
  • Lead and progress casework with a strong delivery focus, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Manage formal investigations and hearings with full procedural rigour.
  • Support HRBPs by advising on performance plans and clear, measurable objectives.
  • Drive early resolution through coaching, mediation, and proactive engagement.
