Job summary

Randstad Technologies is seeking an autonomous Interim Data Protection Officer to provide strategic oversight as UK GDPR DPO and to lead the Information and Data Governance team. The role focuses on resolving an operational FOI backlog while guiding a transition of tasks into Legal and Risk functions.

You will oversee DPIAs, data breach response, and data governance, while advising senior leadership and ensuring regulatory compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience leading DPO function and team restructuring.
• Proven privacy and data governance track record.
• Experience dealing with FOI/EIR/DSAR operational backlog.

Responsibilities

• Statutory DPO duties as ICO contact and privacy risk lead.
• Direct a 7-person team through organizational restructure.
• Backlog clearance for FOI, EIR, and DSAR requests.
• Provide risk-based advisement to Executives and the Board.
