Job summary

Morgan Law in London is assisting a local authority to appoint an Interim Finance Manager - Public Health on a 6‑month contract. The role offers hybrid working with two days on-site per week and a daily umbrella rate up to £570.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and month‑end processes, and provide strategic financial challenge and support to Public Health services and budget holders.

A London local authority is seeking an experienced Public Health Finance Lead to join its finance team on an interim basis. This opportunity has arisen due to an internal team move and offers the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Budget setting and annual financial planning
• Budget monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis

What We're Looking For

• Strong Local Government finance experience
• Previous experience supporting Public Health services
