Job summary

Lewes Old Grammar School in East Sussex is seeking a full-time, fixed-term Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join the safeguarding team from 5 January 2027 to 26 March 2027. You will lead operational safeguarding, provide advice to staff on child welfare, and participate in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings.

The role demands substantial knowledge of safeguarding policies and collaboration with colleagues to assess children's needs and ensure their safety within the school
