Job summary

An aviation company in the UK is seeking an Interim Crewing Officer to oversee crew compliance and manage rosters.   • Completion of Discretion Reports/Reduced Rest Reports.
  • Manage schedule changes during published roster period.
  • Oversee training plan on the published roster.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Crewing Officer to join the Operations Control Centre team. Working within the OCC, the Crewing Officer is responsible for monitoring crew compliance and amending crew rosters to match operational requirements. Implementation of such changes require to be actioned giving due consideration and regular communication with Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, Operations Control Centre (OCC) and Line Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain crew regulatory compliance in line with UKFTL regulations.
  • Monitor flight delays in respect to crew duty hours and subsequent duties.
  • Actively participate and co-operate in disruption recovery strategies of the OCC.
  • Allocate crew efficiently to duties considering resource availability and operational risk. You will be ensuring that the crew are notified of duty changes at appropriate times in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Implement bookings and changes to crew hotel, surface transport and positioning flight requirements as required.
  • Actively contribute to the Crew Control log detailing notable events that occur on shift.
  • Completion of Discretion Reports/Reduced Rest Reports.
  • Manage schedule changes requested during published roster period and arrange crew coverage in line with Company UKFTL scheme.
  • Oversee training plan on the published roster and update/amend training planning as necessary, working in conjunction with the training department.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Relevant previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of aviation computer applications.
  • Operational knowledge of crewing and resource allocation system.

Knowledge of N-OC (NavBlue Ops Control) system.

Educational qualifications that demonstrate proficiency in English Language and numerical skills.
