I'm supporting a rapidly scaling consumer brand on the hire of an Interim CFO to guide the business through its next phase of growth.

The company has seen exceptional momentum across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels and is now strengthening its leadership team with a commercially minded, hands-on CFO who can bring structure, clarity, and strategic direction.

You'll join an entrepreneurial senior leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, upgrading systems, and supporting operational scalability as the business continues to grow at pace.

The Role
  • Own financial strategy, cash management, and long-term planning during a period of rapid expansion.
  • Partner with the SLT to translate performance into clear, actionable insights.
  • Lead the production of high-quality board packs and commercial reporting.
  • Support scaling across multi-channel operations (retail, wholesale, D2C).
  • Lead the transition from Xero to NetSuite (or similar), owning system selection and implementation.
  • Strengthen internal controls, processes, and financial frameworks.
  • Drive automation and improvements in data integrity & reporting.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the finance team.
  • Uplift capability across the team and embed a high-performance culture.
  • Develop improved modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Support margin analysis, cost management, and pricing strategy.
  • Contribute to discussions around investment, fundraising, and future expansion.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader within a fast-growth SME.
  • Proven track record in finance systems upgrades (NetSuite beneficial).
  • Strong process-builder with the ability to implement controls in a scaling environment.
  • Commercial mindset and confidence working with non-finance leaders.
  • Experience managing and developing small, high-performing teams.
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to consumer products, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, or multi-site environments.
  • Experience with stock, supply chain, or light manufacturing operations.
