Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Interim Category Manager in Birmingham to lead procurement activity across a portfolio of projects within the Public Sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in category management and procurement delivery, plus the ability to manage multiple procurement tasks while communicating updates to stakeholders.

• Experience of category management and procurement delivery.
• Ability to run sourcing activity and prepare clear procurement documentation.
• Experience of working with suppliers and managing procurement actions through to completion.
• Confidence reviewing spend data and supplier information to inform decisions.
• Ability to manage several procurement tasks while keeping project priorities clear.
• Clear written communication skills for updates, documentation and stakeholder information.

Job Offer

• Temporary contract.
• Daily rate of 450 to 500, dependent on the level of experience.
• Location: Birmingham.
