Job summary

Camino Search is partnering with an established management consultancy to recruit an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a hands-on contract role for a busy, high-volume AP function, based on-site in central London.

You will oversee end-to-end AP processing, lead a small team, ensure accurate coding and timely payments, and support month-end and audits, with a daily rate up to £200 inside IR35.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Experience in high-volume invoice processing.
• Leadership or mentoring ability.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
• Comfortable working on-site five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage full AP process from invoice receipt to payment.
• Lead and support a small AP team.
• Ensure accurate coding and approvals per internal controls.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries promptly.
• Manage payment schedules and cash-flow considerations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
• Support month-end close and audits.
