Job summary

Global Accounting Network is partnering with a PE-backed events business to appoint an Interim Accounts Payable Consultant. You will lead the stand-alone AP function through a carve-out, manage TSA knowledge transfer, and work closely with the finance team to ensure a seamless transition into the new structure.

The role requires independent working style, proven AP experience, and ability to optimise processes and controls in a fast-paced environment. Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong Accounts Payable experience with the ability to operate autonomously.
• Experience setting up, establishing or transforming an AP function.
• Experience working in carve-out, separation, integration or TSA environments.
• Knowledge transfer experience and ability to document processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up the Accounts Payable function following the carve-out.
• Own AP process and ensure invoices are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Manage TSA arrangements and transfer AP knowledge into the standalone business.
• Document existing AP processes, controls and handover procedures.
• Review current AP set-up and identify opportunities to improve processes and controls.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve invoice and payment queries.
• Support implementation and optimization of AP systems and processes.
• Ensure AP integrates into the new finance function and transitions smoothly.
