Overview

Are you a part-qualified finance professional with strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail? Handle are recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned media and entertainment brand, seeking an Interim Accounts Assistant to support their finance team during a busy reporting period.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the month-end close process, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
• Preparing and manipulating large volumes of financial data for internal reporting
• Downloading data from systems and ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Supporting the production of financial and management reports
• Assisting with intercompany transactions and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc analysis and queries

Qualifications

• Be part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or working towards a qualification
• Demonstrable experience of downloading and manipulating financial data
• Solid experience of supporting month-end close and financial reporting
• Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
• Previous experience with SAP is desirable but training can be provided
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and liaise with teams globally
