A leading recruitment services provider is seeking an Interim Accountant for a 4-month contract role based in Nottingham, involving hybrid working with 2 days in the office. Responsibilities include performing month-end reporting and supporting process improvements. The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant or part-qualified, possess strong analytical skills, and have good knowledge of SAP and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end reporting, analysis & controls.
  • Make assigned month-end journal postings and submissions.
  • Support process improvement initiatives with the finance team.
  • Complete data reviews and validation.
  • Conduct variance analysis & Ad hoc analysis when required.

Contract length: 4 months contract subject to extend

Rate: £22.19/hour Inside IR35

Work Hour: 39-40hours/week

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting an Interim Accountant working on behalf of a leading Energy services company.

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Accountant to join our Energy services business based in Nottingham for an initial period of 4-6 months. This role will work closely with the wider finance team & provide opportunities in a range of topics to support the business during a period of change.

Some of other duties include;

  • Perform month-end reporting, analysis & controls in line with internal timetables.
  • Make assigned month-end journal postings and submissions.
  • Support in process improvement initiatives with the wider finance team
  • Complete data reviews and validation to support changes in the business
  • Variance analysis & Ad hoc analysis when required

Requirements for the role:

  • Qualified accountant/Part Qualified with relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of SAP & Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within teams
  • Adaptable & flexible approach to work
