About the role:

We’re looking for a BDM to work within our Intergenerational Planning team within our retail Sales and Customer Team.

The Intergenerational Planning team is an integral part of the Sales and Customer team. It offers a unique service to financial advisers, solicitors and executors of estates, supporting them and their clients through the estates and probate process and helping advisers maximise the benefits of taking on executors as clients. This supports our business objective to retain funds under management and provide industry leading service.

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in retaining and generating new business within the regional sales and customer teams. This is a role that can lead to be a broad range of opportunities for growth and development.

What will you be doing?
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a network of financial advisers, identifying new business opportunities and focussing on lead generation.
  • Working towards a quarterly target to retain assets under management where suitable for the customer
  • Providing a bespoke experience, tailoring your style to meet the needs of your customer
  • Completing outbound calls and managing multiple executor cases.
  • Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs), consistently working to meet the business retention objectives
  • Conduct meetings present our products, demonstrating how they can benefit both the adviser and beneficiaries
  • Maintain a well organised pipeline, using data and insights to maintain detailed records.
  • Work closely with internal and external sales managers in your region, to identify opportunities
  • Keep up to date with market regulations and product knowledge, using your knowledge to be influential where needed
Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll have:
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written. You’re able to make the complex sound straightforward
  • High self-motivation, with a commitment to meeting KPIs and targets
  • High quality interpersonal skills which emanate honesty and integrity
  • A clear, concise and articulate communication style, with an ability to be influential when needed
  • Drive, ambition, and self-motivation
