Moor House School & College is seeking an Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist (AFC Band 6 Entry Point) to join our mental health and wellbeing team in Oxted, Surrey. The role is 24.6 hours per week across at least three days, focusing on students with speech and language needs and related disorders.

You will work directly with students and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, with CPD and research opportunities supported by the school.

Qualifikationen

• MA-level Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist qualification and UK practicing registration.
• Interest in Developmental Language Disorder and/or speech disorders.
• Eligibility to practice in the UK (UKCP/BACP).

Moor House School & College is an outstanding residential and day school for children and young people with significant speech, language and communication needs. Situated close to a mainline station with direct links to London, the school is located in a beautiful rural setting on the Kent and Surrey borders. Moor House provides a differentiated mainstream curriculum to students aged from 7 to 19.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate Integrative Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our well-established and dynamic mental health and wellbeing team for 24.6 hours over a minimum of 3 days per week. The position is for those with demonstrable interest in Developmental Language Disorder and or/speech disorders and associated diagnoses. The role will involve direct individual work with students across the school and college and contribution within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to student mental health and well-being. Applicants must be trained to MA standard and be registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) and/or the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Successful candidates will join the mental health and wellbeing team that is part of a large, established Therapy Team. CPD and research opportunities are considered vital to the provision of a high-quality service, and these are actively encouraged.
