Job summary

Techtronic Industries (TTI) is seeking an Integrations Developer to join our European HQ, based in Maidenhead or Droitwich. You will design and implement integrations across systems, collaborating with IT teams across 18 countries in the UK/EMEA. Strong programming skills and problem solving are essential.

You will work on Python, Node.js, JavaScript, VBA and SQL integrations, supporting MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and MySQL in Windows and Linux environments. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

  • Experience across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver solutions
  • Experience developing unit tests and quality code
  • Familiar with version control systems and collaborative workflows
  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages and frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal technical support for integrated business applications in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Develop and maintain system integrations and data queries (SQL, ETL).
  • Develop, extend and document integration solutions across platforms.
  • Administer and support installation, configuration, and use of business apps.
  • Gather requirements, design interfaces, and update system documentation.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement in production support and change management.
  • Contribute as an active member of an Agile Scrum team.
  • Evaluate new applications and technologies for potential use.

We are looking for an Integrations Developer to join our European Headquarters, in Maidenhead or Droitwich. You will be working alongside our central IT teams across the UK and EMEA regions (18 countries). Our TTI Integration developers design and implement integrations between systems, platforms, and applications. They are expert problem solvers with extensive programming skills and abilities in multiple coding languages and frameworks

Day to Day
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Being primary internal technical support for custom, integrated business applications in various environments including Microsoft Windows and Linux.
  • Supporting and developing business application integrations and queries in Windows and Linux environments hosting MS SQL Server, MS Integration Services, Reporting Services and MySQL. Development implemented in Python, Node.js, JavaScript, VBA and SQL amongst others.
  • Developing and maintaining integrated systems. Tasks involve requirements gathering, system interface design, report design and database updates.
  • Administering and supporting the installation, implementation, integration, and use of business applications
  • Analysing user specifications and requirements for system integration and other development projects
  • Consistently creating and updating system documentation to keep our support references current
  • Seek out and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to production support, source control, and change management processes
  • Active Agile Scrum development team member
  • Investigating new emerging applications and technologies and recommending how to utilize them in our environment Developing system integrations using EiPaaS, ETL Integration Platforms such as Informatica and or Tibco Scribe.
Skills required:
  • Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.
  • Knowledge and experience of version control systems
  • Creativity is always a plus.
  • Experience working on a variety of software development projects.
  • Knowledgeofmultiple programming languages
  • Experience of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform would be a bonus
