A recruitment agency is seeking an Integration Engineer for an initial 12-month contract based in New Malden, Southwest London. The role requires providing technical leadership on complex automation solutions, developing and maintaining software, and supporting team members. Candidates should have experience with complex systems, preferably in the naval sector, and proficiency in languages such as PowerShell or C#. This role offers flexible working arrangements, with on-site requirements of 3-4 days per week.

Integration Engineer

Initial 12 Month Contract. 3-4 days per week on site (remainder working from home). New Malden, Southwest London. £67.70 Per Hour (Umbrella Rate - Inside IR35).

The Role

Providing technical leadership by taking ownership of complex automation solutions, engaging with stakeholders and end users.

• Review and debug of complex automation scripts
• Provide specialist knowledge and subject matter expertise to members of other teams
• Provision of support and oversight for the work of other team members
• Design solutions for deploying and configuring software and systems
• Develop and maintain software relating to automation of system build and deployment
• Perform investigations and identify appropriate solutions to emerging issues
• Answer technical queries about his/her own work and supply technical support and expertise to others as required
• Keep up to date in relevant technologies

The Candidate

Essential

• Experience of working with large complex systems, ideally in the naval sector
• Background in software engineering
• PowerShell or C#

Desirable

• Techniques for automation of installation and deployment software
• Experience of strong configuration management practices
