Job description
Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Procurement & Supplies Department within North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions, supporting efficient stock replenishment, receipt, storage, and distribution at the North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust. The role reports to the Integrated Inventory Team Leader and operates at both hospital sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a materials management service to defined areas.
  • Timely receipt, checking, booking, and distribution of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records, safe storage, and product standardisation.
  • Re‑stock goods and chase outstanding orders.
  • Support stock counts, monthly evaluations and liaise with internal/external agencies.
  • Assist with product recalls, report inabilities, and advise on inconsistencies.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient service delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Computer literate, experience with electronic inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of stock control, supplies/stores functions and excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication across all levels of the organisation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to work at both North Tees and Hartlepool hospital sites.
