Job summary

A healthcare organization in Scotland is offering an exciting opportunity for Specialist Nurses to join an evolving Integrated Front Door team. You will support direct admissions and the care of patients in a virtual ward. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient care, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team. This is a permanent role with a salary range of £41,608 to £50,702 per annum plus a Distant Islands Allowance.

Integrated Front Door Service

Specialist Nurse

Band 6 £41,608 - £50,702 per annum

Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,406 per annum

37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for Specialist Nurses to join an evolving Integrated Front Door team.

These posts will be based primarily within Hospital at Home supporting direct admission and the care of patients in the virtual ward. There is a vision to expand the service in line with Scottish Government initiatives. Applicants should be committed to providing a high standard of patient care and interact well within the multi-disciplinary Team.

Applicants should have good communication skills, and a commitment to developing change and promote innovation within the front door services. Post holders are required to hold a driving licence.

The ability, drive and commitment to work as part of a team, sometimes at a distance, and to contribute to the local development of primary care and acute services is important.
