Qualifications

• Previous sales, customer service or broking-support experience would be beneficial.
• Experience in motor insurance or commercial insurance is an advantage but not essential.
• Confident communicator who enjoys speaking with customers and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handling inbound and outbound new-business enquiries across road risk, motor trade and commercial insurance.
• Building rapport with prospective customers and understanding their insurance requirements.
• Completing fact-finds and gathering accurate information to support underwriting assessments.
• Preparing quotations and presenting insurance terms clearly and professionally.
• Following up quotations and opportunities to maximise conversion.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, insurers and internal colleagues.
• Supporting policy placement and ensuring client information is recorded accurately.
• Developing technical knowledge across commercial insurance, motor trade and specialist insurance products.
• Delivering a high standard of service throughout the customer journey.

Are you a confident sales or customer-service professional looking to build a long-term career in insurance?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established commercial insurance broker as an Insurance Sales Executive, working across motor trade, road risk and wider commercial insurance products. You will speak with prospective and existing clients, understand their requirements, prepare quotations and support the placement of insurance policies.

You do not need to be an experienced broker already. What matters most is your communication ability, commercial awareness, motivation to succeed, and genuine interest in developing within insurance and financial services.

The role

As an Insurance Sales Executive, you will play a key role in generating and progressing new-business opportunities. Working closely with experienced brokers and insurer partners, you will gain practical exposure to the full sales and broking process.

About you

• Previous sales, customer service, account-management, insurance, financial-services or broking-support experience would be beneficial.
• Experience within motor insurance, personal lines, commercial insurance or motor trade would be an advantage, but is not essential.

• Comfortable working towards targets and following up sales opportunities.
• Organised, accurate and able to manage multiple enquiries effectively.
