Job description

Overview

We’re looking for a Director, Insurance to join us in Hammersmith.

The Director, Insurance will lead the optimisation of Liberty Global’s insurance strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop Liberty Global’s overarching insurance strategy across all current and emerging insurable risks across Property and Casualty
• Define Liberty Global’s optimum risk financing strategy by risk (OpCo, captive, pooling, market, etc.) and assess the role of Liberty Global’s captive insurance company
• Place and lead all Group insurance programs and work with OpCo’s to ensure effective delivery of all local programs
• Operational management of Captive Insurance Company
• Provide Insurance Services to LG Partner and Venture Markets as required (‘Federation Services’)
• Develop effective claims management process in conjunction with local OpCos
• Identify and deliver ancillary insurance opportunities (e.g. handset insurance, insurance marketing, etc.)
