We are currently working on behalf of a leading independent broker who are looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their team in the heart of Colchester.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, engaged with a ‘can do’ attitude with the desire to build a long-term career.

Essential skills required:

  • Good Knowledge of all commercial products
  • Experience within an insurance broker
  • Previous experience working as an Account Executive role in a similar broking environment
  • Building strong and sustainable working relationships
  • Experience of dealing with clients over the telephone
  • Proven track record in client ownership and achieving growth in commercial insurance
  • Personable, confident, and expert communicator Insurance
  • Self-managing and ability to organise own workload
  • Effective diary management
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong work ethic

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, ensuring a quality service is provided to all clients and to manage and take ownership of a book of existing clients, looking for cross sell/up sell opportunities.
