We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the construction of a nuclear building project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly within the nuclear industry, and possess exceptional leadership and organisational skills. The roles require security clearance at SC level with the ability to obtain DV clearance. Experience delivering Instrumentation and control systems is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of contractors, subcontractors, and construction workers to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all construction activities adhere to nuclear safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction processes to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with project specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal project teams to provide regular updates on project progress.
  • Budget Management: have an awareness of project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource optimization.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, safety records, and compliance certificates.
