Job summary

Outsource UK is seeking an experienced Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join our industrial energy and storage business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will support and improve control and instrumentation systems, carrying out fault finding, maintenance, system upgrades and commissioning, while collaborating with operations, maintenance teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with fault finding and maintenance in regulated industrial environments.
• Experience with integration of control and instrumentation systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve control and instrumentation systems across fault finding, maintenance, upgrades and commissioning.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join a leading industrial energy and storage business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will support and improve control and instrumentation systems, providing technical expertise across fault finding, maintenance, system upgrades and commissioning. The role involves working closely with operations, maintenance teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations.

Key requirements:

• Strong experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS and instrumentation systems.
• Experience in a regulated industrial environment.
• Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving and communication skills.
• An engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
