Senior Lead I&C Engineer – Clear Recruitment are seeking the services of a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer with Allen-Bradley experience to join our client on a contract basis.

The Senior Lead I&C Engineer participates in a team environment consisting of engineers and designers to produce construction documents for the following systems: Instrumentation and Controls, telecommunications, fire alarm, and security.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Performs the engineering tasks for the design of technology systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional
• Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
• Coordinates with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
• Develops the conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include the development of technology schematic diagrams, technology equipment layout, cable routing, details, and the like
• Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
• Coordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines’ inputs are incorporated
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
• Assists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline team
• Works to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships both internal and external
• Ability to mentor and train junior staff
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Required

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
• Nation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record preferred
• 8+ years of experience

• Prior experience in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Prior experience as a consulting engineer preferred
• Prior experience with Advanced Technology
• Experience working within a team environment
